Alexander recently had another hearing test and results proved that he CAN hear better in his left ear than previous results showed. The tube surgery was a success and fluid has cleared to give him more of a severe diagnosis in that ear in the low tones. This is huge for grasping language. With the hearing aids and the improved hearing, he is able to get more information from noises.
This does not solve his hearing challenges ahead, but it is a baby step and something to cheer about.
