Museum of Natural History

The kids had a blast at the Museum of Natural History. It is on the top of their favorite's list. There are dinosaurs, fossils, how fossils are found and put together, a insect zoo, a mammal section much like the Bean Life Science Museum in Provo and a whole section of soil. Dallin just didn't have enough time to take it all in, so he would love to go again when Grandma and Grandpa come to visit.
Here we are in front of the dinosaurs. A pre-photo shot (thanks Jon for capturing our circus).
Ok, a little more together this time.
The Washington Monument is just outside of the Museum. The kids were thrilled to be so close to it. The kids and I were able to read the history behind it before moving here. Dallin was a little tour guide spitting out all of the facts and asking us thinking questions. Jon and I couldn't help but laugh when Zachary chimed in before I answered one of Dallin's questions, "just think about it mom, ok."
The Museum of Art was closed before we were able to get through the doors, so we enjoyed the outside. It has beautiful architecture.
Here is my little ghost helping push Alexander. People would walk by and just laugh because it seemed as though it was operating on its own. Here is my little helper pushing his brother off of the sidewalk and heading for the street. Crash!
