when we moved into the house there were treasures for us to salvage.
our favorite pieces were the refrigerators, vacuum, a washer and dryer, a bbq and my personal favorite: a wonderfully broken in skateboard.
who knew that there trash would become one of my favorite treasures?!
it's my new hobby.

honestly, i have always wanted to do more on a skateboard then just ride down the driveway on my bum with my feet to the sides skidding the ground in hope to slow down.
why wait any longer?
dallin is so proud of me.
i can 'wow' the 5th graders in the cul-de-sac with my riding skills,
which are really not that great...yet.
my next aspiration is the skate park.
believe it or not, i don't want or need an audience so how am i going to do that without anyone around?
can you imagine a 29-year-old suburban mom sneaking into a skate park late at night?
it may just come to that.
as for more comic relief.
here is reason #1 why we need an outdoor trampoline and a diaper change:
yes, that is right, seat drops with a very stinky diaper.
nice combo.

i would LOVE to see you sneaking into a skate park after hours. hahaha. what fun treasures you found.
ReplyDeleteoh, and i'm glad your boys liked fraction action! if they liked that, they might like to be introduced to kid sudoku. its ethan's new favorite past time. they make super easy kid versions in 4X4 and 6X6 puzzles. hope y'all are doing well!
i bet dallin loves the star wars writing on the board. you are one sweet momma. i want to learn how to ride those rip stix. later sk8ter
