surprise…the word is out

it’s jon’s birthday today!

he is finally out the door.

the kids waited all weekend long for this morning to arrive. they used super-human strength to keep their mouths shut and conceal our super-surprise for him.

while he was away last week we went into action! i contacted his boss who helped us in to decorate (trashed more like it) his office. jon’s parents were kind enough to send a birthday package full of goodies and decorations that were simply perfect for the surprise.

for someone who doesn’t like attention he will get plenty of it today.

every employee on his floor will find a HUGE cookie and a note on their desk when they arrive this morning reading, “it’s my birthday!” (see photo above).
