so it has been days, okay weeks since i have posted. much of the neglect is due to a broken keyboard and a camera on the mend from a lens problem.
when it arrived back from the factory this afternoon i felt the same exaltation as i do at Christmastime. although when opening the box my hope was that my camera was on permanent bed rest at the factory and a new nikon d90 would show in its place. no such luck.
still it was a pleasant surprise holding a camera again. moments have come and gone without photo documentation. in many ways it has been therapeutic remembering some of the best memories in life are still viewed in my mind, not through the lens of a camera.
most of all i would have enjoyed sharing the photos with my husband.
it seems he has been out of town for weeks. we miss him, but know he’s working hard to bring home the free give-a-away’s from the conferences and a job that comes with the best health insurance benefits.
