We were thrilled with the chance to visit my brother Nate, his wife Diana and kids on our way home from North Carolina yesterday. They really have a great home. Jon and I could believe how cozy they made it feel in such a short amount of time. They even have a spare bedroom for visitors as they pass through. :)
Nate was kind enough to give us a tour of the Naval base he works on.
Being it our first time on a base we were impressed with the amount of tanks, weapons and ‘secret’ buildings that encompassed such a small area. It is beautifully located right off the Potomac river so a picnic including throwing rocks and watching boats pass by is a common occurrence for them.
