…in your closet, the attic or down the street at the thrift store.
It’s that time of year again when we search to find the perfect costume for our kids and possibly ourselves.
i have never been the type to purchase an already made costume for Halloween. In my opinion it takes all the fun and creativity out of it, Although this year DC wants to be Draco Malfloy from Harry Potter. He fits the part almost too well. i toyed with making such a simple costume, but the cost of the Slytherin patch and fabric for the robe alone was the same price as the complete costume i found at www.halloweencostumes.com. They have great prices.
It’s ordered. Draco Malfloy is on its way.
While at the website, i found Jon’s costume also.
Very nice.
Now for me. Maybe a knocked up biker chic or a pregnant nun perhaps? Another option: Jon and i could be matchy-matchy, i could be a pregnant Wenda, Z-man could be the wizard and Ajax the dog…
I was wenda when I was younger. I thought it was fun. I actually considered it for this year but we might come up with a family theme. All i have now is that Brooklyn will be a cow... I love the excitement that comes with Halloween and costume hunting. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
ReplyDeleteare you kidding me?!!!! you are having a girl? i am SO dang excited for you guys!!!!
ReplyDeleteok, so i get a lot of my fabric at quiltworks northwest which is in bellevue... you need to go next time you are here. and i end up always gravitating towards "free spirit". they always seem to have gorgeous stuff. also, i really liked the latest line that anna marie horner came out with.... check it out.
congratulations again!!!!
xoxo
A MUCH belated congrats on your mini Monica on the way. How very exciting!
ReplyDeleteYou look fab too. Can't believe you'll a mother of FOUR! Very cool.
A good costume idea for a prego is to wear a garabage bag over you with the word "HEFTY" placed somewhere on it, while your husband wears a garbage bag with the word "GLAD" somewhere on it. Get it. The two brands, Hefty and Glad. He's GLAD you're HEFTY. Get it?!?!?! I know. Silly. My parents did it when my mom was prego with me.
Anywho.
Congrats!
