it is exciting to watch Alexander hit all of the
physical, mental and emotional milestones right on time.
as for verbal milestones..that is obvious, he is behind.

it has been a week of
little celebrations.
alexander took his first step and then fell on his bum (better than his head).
with a rotated inner ear, we've been told to watch for problems with his balance.
so far so good. phew.
alexander said, "bah, bah, bah" during his therapy session.
this is a very big deal.
you should be jumping up and down like i did.
it is the beginning of great things to come.
while i work on the computer,
alexander likes to climb up on my chair and sit behind me.
after that i usually catch him waving
to his reflection in the skylight.

ReplyDeletehooray! i love reading about your little big triumphs. and i love seeing all your fun new adventures. do you remember my friend laura who lived in issaquah for a while? her husband just finished law school last year and they're living in alexandria, i think. close to you? that's the one you saw on my blog. and i think my cousin's moving out there soon too. sounds like we need to make a family trip to d.c.! oh, wait, i'm having child #4 soon. no trips for at least 5 years now. bummer.
