1. DC’s dream came true when Uncle Alex surprised him with tickets to a model train show. Being delighted by all of the different engines and coaches he smiled the whole time we were there. His new passion in life is to collect model trains.
Our money tree out back is empty, any one want to support him in his new hobby?
Grandma? Grandpa? Alex?
Apparently there is evil in model train land. The super hero's are ready to fight crime.
2. There was no persuading the cop, my California stop was simply illegal in the state of Virginia. For that I received a beautiful pink traffic ticket.
I pride myself in showing the kids how to handle stressful situations.
There is one more situation I can chalk up on the board. Oh, Mr.DC just reminded me he has already seen me pulled over.

3. Ajax made another appearance in the hospital.
Unconsciously he has made it his goal to meet all the doctors in our area.
Four stitches and a bandage later we were sent home. The most difficult part was getting the stitches out yesterday. On top of that visit was another visit to the pediatrician for his routine 2-year-old check up complete with immunizations shots.
He will NEVER trust another doctor again.
4. Another design for Z-mans “Cool Lego Creations”
photo book was completed. He really brings out the best in Legos.
5. DC broke his first board.
Prior to heading to the Tiger Den he was hiding in the garage in fear that he would not be able to do it. What a relief it was to have this experience be a successful one.
6. It’s snowing again!
We love waking up to snow because snow is synonymous with hot chocolate! A snow day is not complete without a big breakfast and a mug of hot chocolate.
Looking forward to the adventures this next week brings.
Sorry about Alex's stitches. He is at that age, isn't he? You find more fun places to visit! How fun.
ReplyDeletei think some kids are just more accident prone than others -- like our little sophie. she has spent more time with doctors/hospitals than all the other kids combined. and then some.
ReplyDeleteand i am impressed with the board breaking skills!
I love the list and all the pictures! It looks like you guys are having a pretty eventful winter...traffic tickets and hospital visits...:)
ReplyDeleteI hope Alexander is feeling better!:)
I definitely miss seeing you guys around!
